Beginning in high school as the photographic editor of his newspaper and yearbook, Cayce Newman followed his passion for photography to a variety of venues including Golden West and Orange Coast College and the University of California at Irvine.
In 1987 Cayce opened Goldmark Photography in California’s Inland Empire. Beginning primarily as a commercial photographer, Cayce joined the Inland Empire Professional Photographers and Videographers (IEPPV) in 1994 and won Commercial Photographer of the Year in 1995. Transitioning to a fine art portraitist, and winning multiple Photographer of the Year awards and numerous service awards at IEPPV, Cayce worked to stay on the cutting edge both visually and creatively by being an early digital adopter and moving to 100% digital art and technology in 1999.
