Only an hour and a half away, in Keizer, Oregon, was the one and only In-N-Out burger in the entire state. The mecca of burgers.

Maybe it’s the Ides of March, or the doldrums of late winter/early spring. Either way, there hasn’t been much going on for the last month or two. We’ve been kinda stuck in the Southern California (Menifee, Glen Ivy-Corona, Palm Springs) area since late February, through March and April and soon into May. At first, we were hanging out to hopefully see a resolution to a lingering family business saga, but now it’s been attending to a largish number of doctor visits and health management concerns that have hung on way longer than expected. (Painful pinched nerve issues… hurts, but nothing serious)

So, that’s been a lot of freeway miles (and time) logged to the many various places of physician business in Orange County, a crap-ton of traffic and a few unusual sightings. (the Polaris Slingshot was a first) We’ll be able to spend a couple weeks in Arizona at the end of April, then back for a few more appointments in early May. While (back) in the area, there’s a family wedding to catch, (that we were going to fly in for) and a couple of photo image competitions that I was asked to be a judge for, and then we should be able to move on to more distant destinations.
In the meantime, we’ll be hangin’ out, cooling our heals around and about our ol’ stomping grounds. See some old friends, good for the soul.
