Only an hour and a half away, in Keizer, Oregon, was the one and only In-N-Out burger in the entire state. The mecca of burgers.

It rains here. A LOT. It isn’t a secret and unless you’ve lived in a cave you know going in, but that doesn’t seem to make it any less jarring for me, being a (mostly) lifelong SoCal resident. We’ve been here about 20 days or so and there’s been zero days of sun. Sure the sun peaks out for 20 minutes here or an hour there every few days or so, but the vast bulk of the time it’s cold, grey, cloudy, dark and above all, very, very wet.

Could be the extra beefy El Nino this year, could be just a coincidence, or could be how Oregonians live every February and March. Time may possibly tell.
We are finally in a stretch of sun that may last for a couple of days, so I’m catching up on some chores and maintenance that needed clear skies and less of all the things being wet. Then, we’re hoping to get out and see some sights and areas of interest. – I’m looking at you local waterfalls, rivers and possibly Portland.
